The local host committee of IAPCO Annual Meeting & General Assembly 2026 is a strong team of leading Greek MICE stakeholders who have created a joint venture, IAPCO Team Greece.

IAPCO Team Greece, is a collaboration built upon our shared enthusiasm and empowered to deliver a unique, record-breaking event. Our collaboration enjoys the support of all major organizations involved in Greek Tourism and Greek MICE.

The IAPCO Team Greece is represented by the top Professional Congress Organizers of the country, with long-term experience in the Meetings Industry on the national and international levels, namely AFEA Congress, CONVIN, ERA Congresses and Events and ERASMUS Conferences & Events. The 4 companies are accredited members of IAPCO and active members of HAPCO & DES (Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers & Destination Event Specialists). This is Athens-Convention and Visitors Bureau, an IAPCO destination partner, makes the 5th member of the IAPCO Team Greece.

Our collaboration is designed to showcase the quality and resilience of our local industry and extend these efforts into the future. We aim to bring together all key stakeholders of our country in a common effort to welcome Meeting professionals in the most prestigious gathering of the Global Meetings Industry, showcase Greek hospitality (“Philoxenia”) and highlight our country’s understanding of the power and contribution of meetings. This is why we invite your company to join this effort and get aboard the Meeting.

This is not the first time that our companies, although “ competitors” collaborate in a joint effort. In 2017, our collaboration for the IAPCO Edge Meeting was shortlisted for the IAPCO Collaboration Award. This spirit was also the catalyst for a national, targeted MICE strategy that led to the creation of the Greek Meetings Alliance, an idea born during the pandemic and turned into reality in 2021.
