Through this year’s CSR initiative, we have chosen to support the Child Protection Annex of Attica ‘MITERA’ (which means “Mother”)— a historic child protection center in Athens.
The funds raised will help equip one of the wards that is currently being renovated, adding window stories that will make the space warmer, brighter, and more welcoming for the 12 children staying there. These children are at an important moment in their lives — waiting to return to their families or move to foster care or adoption. During this time, their surroundings truly matter. Light, color, and small touches of imagination can make a real difference in how a child feels each day.
This contribution will not simply renovate a ward. It will leave a legacy of care, dignity, and hope.
Thank you for your support!
Since 1955, MITERA has provided care and protection to 7,302 children. It has ensured the safe adoption of 5,050 children, secured foster families for 580, and taken all necessary steps to support the reunification of 1,800 children with their biological parents. In addition, it has supported more than 2,600 mothers during times of need.

Sustainability is of paramount importance in our industry.
A city as culturally rich as Athens hosting a sustainable meeting is an opportunity to inspire positive change. As the global community recognizes the urgent need to address environmental and social challenges, the meetings sector plays a vital role in driving positive change. Here are some of our initiatives towards this:
We encourage attendees to use public transportation or eco-friendly options to reach our venue which is well located in the heart of the city and within 2’ walking distance from metro station.
We will try to minimize printed materials and use digital and mobile apps instead.
We partner with local recycling and waste management services to ensure proper waste disposal and recycling at the venue.
We will collaborate with caterers who prioritize sustainable sourcing such as locally grown ingredients and limit the use of single-use plastics.
We will work with the venue to optimize energy use as much as possible.
Wherever possible, we will source supplies and products locally to support the Athens community and reduce the carbon footprint associated with shipping.
We will invest in carbon offset programs or initiatives that can compensate for the environmental impact.
More details will be announced soon.
Thank you for being part of the Odyssey Reinvented in Athens.
It was a true pleasure to host you in our city, and we are deeply grateful for your energy, insights, and active participation, which made this event a success.
