The Athenian Riviera Drive

Like Odysseus navigating between wonder and danger, participants embark on a modern journey through Athens’ evolving cultural and urban landscape.

The SNFCC represents the intellectual and artistic call of the “Sirens” — creativity, knowledge, and cultural refinement that captivate the mind.

The Ellinikon Experience Park symbolizes Odysseus’s forward-looking voyage — exploring innovation, sustainability, and the transformation of Greece’s future.

Together, the trip reflects a contemporary odyssey: balancing heritage and progress, imagination and responsibility, inspiration and action.

After the departure from Syntagma by bus, this field trip begins at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre, where the group is introduced to Athenian culture, innovation, and sustainability. Within its grounds, visitors can explore the National Library of Greece, the Greek National Opera, and extensive botanical gardens. Most importantly, the group can visit the Lighthouse, which provides a 360 view of all Athens, and its surrounding islands.

Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC)

After the visit to the SNFCC, the bus will take the group to the Ellinikon Experience Park, where our guests will have the chance to experience the future of Athens through the magic of virtual reality.

By using VR technology, visitors can ride through the future Ellinikon Park or even sail across its digital waters, exploring how this groundbreaking urban redevelopment will transform the city’s landscape.

During the visit at the  experience park, and before returning to the Divani Caravel Hotel,  our guests will be treated with some delicious Greek snacks at the Flocace, located in the park, getting a chance to socialize and gather their thoughts of that eventful day!

Ellinikon Experience Park

The Ellinikon project in Athens is a massive urban redevelopment transforming the former Athens International Airport into a modern smart city. It includes luxury residences, a marina, retail and business districts, and Greece’s largest coastal park. The projects aims to boost tourism, sustainability and economic growth, making it one of Europe’s most ambitious regeneration intiatives.
